Especially are valuable for designing future energy systems to replicate natural optimal solutions and maintain natural resources. The mainstream of this research area lies in industry in cooperation with nature.  By emulating natural structures, materials, functions and patterns processes in the industry could be optimized. On the other hand also the research area would cover enhancement of innovation through biologically inspired design of new technologies and products. Bionic artificial products could present the future outcome of this research field.

- Simulations  and optimization of energy efficient processes by bionic principles;

- Implementing novel methodologies and technologies for bionic engineering design;
