Energy systems would emulate the functioning of the ecosystems. As is most well known that nature proposes the best solutions through the evolution it can assess. Emulating chemical and physical processes in the nature to envisage the future energy systems functioning and resolve the problems for renewable deployment presents the main objective. Energy system should be recognized as living organisms, which are autonomous, energy independent, self-sufficient and self-organized. Another open research issue is to study molecular energy bionics. Within various aspects such as ATP syntheses, electron transfer, metabolism pathways have to be analysed.
Activities:
- Structure of the energy systems on macro scale (local, municipal, national energy systems, entirely renewable energy systems);
- Micro energy systems (research and development in particular of the renewable energy technologies replicating the natural ecosystems, energy conversions in plants and animals, molecular level);
- Metabolism approach for detail scan of presented situation;
- Pathways towards future development of energy systems.
